Our History: A Legacy of Growth and Innovation
Franger Gas Company was founded in 1946 as Foster-Franger Gas and Appliances, serving returning World War II veterans with propane appliances and fuel. Over the years, we expanded our operations and moved to our current headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana, where we began focusing on the sale and delivery of liquid petroleum, or LP Gas.
Throughout our history, we have grown and evolved, adding plant locations in Plymouth, Akron, and Jones, as well as establishing a refueling location for fleets of police cars and taxis during the Oil Crisis of the 1970s. In 2014, we partnered with one of our suppliers to build the Mentone Propane Rail Terminal, further expanding our capabilities. In 2015, we merged with AllPro Gas of Goshen, adding another strong company to our family.
