It’s time to save on your energy bill with GPP. Act now!

Inflation. Gas prices. Energy prices. The last several years have brought what seems like one more financial worry after the next. Your family, like many families across the country, are probably looking for areas to save and plan in your household budget. That is why we offer our annual Guaranteed Price Program. At Franger Gas, we want you to have not just confidence in our propane service – but peace of mind when it comes to cost.

For our customers, our Guaranteed Price Program offers relief. When you pay for propane gas as it is delivered, that can be hard on the budget and difficult to forecast. GPP can help you plan your spending and offer predictability in a time when many need that in their finances.

Our enrollment period is underway now, and we encourage each of our customers to take advantage now before GPP enrollment ends. We want to give you peace of mind and predictability.

Guaranteed Price Program Runs May 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024. The deadline for sign-up is June 1, 2023.

What is GPP?

It is our budget billing program that allows you to get a predictable energy bill. There is no cost to join and it allows you to make the same payment every month. To get your payments, we estimate your annual use and develop a payment plan that meets your needs. Even more – we also guarantee your rate. GPP guarantees your price never exceeds a certain level, regardless of what the energy markets do.

We break down your total season’s heating bill into monthly payments. As a GPP customer, you are automatically enrolled in our worry-free Automatic Fill Service

Act now to take advantage of this Franger Gas Program! There’s no cost to join and you’ll get a predictable bill each month.

How does Guaranteed Price work?

  • We estimate your propane gas usage for the next 11 months, based on your past usage and tank size as well as factoring in weather and propane price forecasts. Prices will vary based on individual residential customer accounts.
  • We divide that amount by 11 to determine your monthly payment amount.
  • We review your plan throughout the year to make sure your budget amount is keeping pace with your actual usage. Guaranteed Price is settled in April and recalculated for the new plan year that starts on May 1.
  • This is a free service for residential customers whose accounts are up to date, and you can discontinue it at any time.

What are the benefits of the program?

Benefits to our Guaranteed Price Program include:

  • A Guaranteed Price (No higher than $2.099 for 250+ gallon tanks, and $2.499 for 100 gallon tanks, from May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024.)
  • Summer Fill Discount (other companies give you just one price for the entire year)
  • Equal Monthly Payments (you can also make payments in advance)
  • Automatic Fill Guarantee (No extra cost for this great service)
  • For more details, read our FAQs here.

How do I enroll in the Guaranteed Price Program?

Use our GPP payment calculator to determine if you qualify. You will receive an estimate of your monthly payment plan, and your estimated payment will be sent to a Franger Gas specialist who will be in touch to finalize your plan.

Hurry! Enrollment ends June 1, 2023!

What is propane?

What is propane?

  • Propane is a safe and widely used fuel. It is nontoxic and produces minimal emissions.
  • Propane is produced from both natural gas processing and crude oil refining, in roughly equal amounts.
  • Propane is a hydrocarbon and is sometimes referred to as liquefied petroleum gas, LP-gas or LPG.
  • In its natural form, propane is colorless and odorless. Manufacturers deliberately add a chemical compound to give it a strong unpleasant odor, like rotten eggs, a skunk’s spray, or a dead animal, in order to alert customers of a leak.
  • Propane is transported and stored in tanks as a very cold liquid fuel, and may cause a “freeze burn” or frostbite if it contacts the skin .
  • Although propane is stored as a liquid, it is changed into gas vapor before leaving the tank.
  • Propane will not ignite when combined with air unless the source of ignition reaches 920-degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Propane gas is not harmful to soil or ground water.
  • Over 95% of the propane use in the United States is produced in North America.
